National Art Honor Society:   National Art Honor Society: National Art Honor Society is holding its 4th Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser + Friday April 22nd from 5:00-7:00 in the cafeteria. One-of-a-kind handmade ceramic bowls will be sold via online auction from 4/15 – 4/22 and also at the night of the event for $10 each. Refreshments are included with every purchase/donation and 100% of proceeds go directly to the Neighborhood Food Pantries. Live music will be provided by various GBN musical groups and rock bands. Come help us fight hunger together! 

Annual Spring Art Show: Please join us for our annual Spring Art Show event, which will take place this Friday, the 22nd, 5-7 pm, in the cafeteria. In addition to the show, 2 other events (Open Mic Night and the Empty Bowls Fundraiser) will be taking place at the same time. We encourage you to bring along family and friends to come and enjoy all of the amazing work that is on display!

Theatre: GBN Theatre is proud to present its spring musical, Chicago!It’s 1920’s Chicago, where jazz and fame are found around every corner. Housewife Roxie Hart dreams of fame and fortune, yearning for her name in lights. Her dreams eventually lead her to death row, where she meets another murderess, a vaudevillian named Velma Kelly. Together, they develop a deep rivalry while competing for fame in the hope it will keep them from their fate. Chicago runs April 28th-30th at 7:30pm in the Auditorium. Tickets are $10 online at glenbardnorthhs.seatyourself.biz or at the door. Tickets are also available during lunch periods!

Fashion Club: The next Fashion Club meeting is 4/27. We would love to have you join us in 1412.

The North Current – student newspaper: Are you interested in becoming an editor for the North Current, Glenbard North’s student newspaper, in the 2022-2023 school year? We will be interviewing for editor positions on Friday, April 22 after school between 2:45-3:45. We have multiple leadership positions to fill for the coming school year, and no previous experience is needed. Please fill out the application (Google Form) linked below and sign up for a 10-minute interview time on the paper posted outside of Room 2235. Email Ms. Buck-Castaneda with any questions.

The Panther Closet: Spring has sprung! The weather is warming, awards season is here, and Prom is just around the corner. Did you know that Glenbard North has a place where you can go to update your wardrobe for FREE? Stop by the Panther Closet in the student cafeteria on Wednesday mornings between 7:00-7:30 AM and check out our supply of spring and summer.

Juniors and Seniors: Prom 2022 is Saturday, May 14th at Bobak’s Signature Events in Woodridge! Get ready to “Rewrite the Stars” and dance the night away! Ticket sales begin on Saturday, April 23rd and will end on Wednesday, April 27th.

Yoga and Meditation Club:  Yoga and Meditation Club. Do you want to relax or energize for the last two months of school? If so, come to a Yoga and Meditation session every Wednesday after school in room 1216. Bring some friends and bring a mat or a towel. You won’t regret it!

Club Interact: Attention all! The Community Wide Food Drive is coming up on Saturday, April 23rd and we need your help! Volunteers are needed to help unload donations and load up the donations on the food pantries’ trucks!.

Club Interact: Attention all first period classes! The Toilet paper challenge begins today so if you can spare a square then you can donate a roll!! The first period class that donates the most rolls of toilet paper by Friday, April 22nd for the Community-wide food drive will win $5 gift card for each student in the class for either Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks and $25 gift card for your teacher!

Class of 2022: With $10 Customize a senior mug to show your friends the face they love. Posters with links can be found outside of the cafeteria, gym, Panther Preview, and Instagram.

Health Office:  JUNIORS – please make an appointment to get your 2nd meningococcal conjugate vaccination. This is a state of Illinois requirement for entry into 12th grade. Please send proof of your vaccination to the health office by May 1st, 2022.  

North Technology Club: Join the North Technology Club to learn about CRYPTOCURRENCY and PYTHON programming. Meetings are every Wednesday after school in room 2206. Everyone is welcome. No experience required!  

Creative Writing + Lit Mag Club Interested in creative writing, photography, art, or graphic design? Attend the Creative Writing Club + Literary Magazine Club on Tuesdays at 2:40pm in room 1114. See Ms. Quinn or email Margaret Quinn with any question.
