Formal Senior Portraits: Attention Seniors! If you missed your Formal Senior Portrait, but want to appear with your class in the 2019 Yearbook, please go to the Glenbard North High School web page for scheduling and additional information. The deadline to make up your Formal Senior Portrait is only two weeks away.

Green Panthers: The Green Panthers Environmental Club will be meeting on Fridays in room 2232. See Mrs. Karavites-Uhl for details.

Unity Dance Club: Unity Dance Club will hold their second meeting on Thursday, September 27th in classroom 1231. Bring any new music and dance moves. New members welcome!

Theatre: How do you do 30 plays in 60 minutes? With The Infinite Wrench! Join us September 27th, 28th, and 29th at 7:30 p.m. for a unique theatre experience. Tickets are only $5 and are available at the door and online at www.glenbardnorthhs.seatyourself.biz. If we sell out the house the pizza’s on us!

Library: It’s Banned Book Week! Come down to the library to take a look at what we have on display to see the impact banning books really has – it might just surprise you. While you’re there, show your support and grab (or make!) a banned book button. Questions? See your library staff!

Prism: Our first meeting of the year will be after school this Wednesday, September 26th in room 1408. PRISM is GBN’S club for all students who identify within the LGBTQ+ spectrum, and their allies! We look forward to seeing you all there!

Super Fans: Come Watch our Football team at Lake Park High School on Friday, September 28th @7:30pm. Permission slips for the Fan Bus are available in the Dean’s Office and due by 7:30am on Friday, September 28th.

The Well: “Broken” is the theme for See You at the Pole 2018. The event is planned for Wednesday, September 26th, at schools around the world. It is estimated that a million students participate in this annual event worldwide. This Wednesday, on Weber Field, at 6:45 AM, “The Well” will meet at the Flagpole for SYATP 2018. All are welcome, come anytime and leave when you need to. For more information, go to SYATP.com or see Mr. Wit or a member of The Well. This is not a school sponsored event.  

Girls Basketball: There will be a short informational meeting afterschool in Room 2304 on Thursday, September 27th for all girls interested in trying out for basketball this winter. Information will be shared about preseason conditioning, open gyms, try-outs, and upcoming fundraisers. If you cannot attend, contact Coach Wit prior to the meeting.

Student Council: Attention all students Homecoming 2018 Red Carpet Gala is beginning to roll out. This week will be homecoming court voting. To vote click on the QR codes on nominees lockers or go to @gbncouncil on Twitter. Homecoming tickets will be sold during lunch periods starting today or you can buy online through SchoolPay in Powerschool. If you are bringing a guest from another school you must have a guest form filled out before purchasing tickets.

Boys Gymnastics: Boy’s gymnastics will have an open gym this Wednesday in the gymnastics balcony. The gymnastics open gym will run from right after school until 4:30. If you’re looking for a spring sport, or just want to get stronger and learn a backflip, come upstairs and check us out – no previous experience with gymnastics is necessary.

Key Club: We will have our homecoming poster making party after school on September 28th in the cafeteria. Banner making will be from 2:40-3:30. Pizza will be provided at 3:30. If you plan to attend, sign up outside of room 1107 by Wednesday, September 26th. It will be fun!
