Seniors Update 4/9/21

Graduation Information for Families

We are very excited to personally recognize our senior class on May 21st and 22nd. As with most things this year, plans and guidelines have been continuously changing. We appreciate your patience as we have been working to plan an in-person ceremony that our graduates deserve while doing so within current safety guidelines.

I want to share some details to help you plan for your child’s big day as their Panther journey ends, and a new chapter begins. There will be three smaller ceremonies to allow each graduate to invite multiple guests while adhering to social distancing guidelines. Details will continue to be shared, but please note the following:

  • Ceremony 1 will take place on Friday, May 21st at 5:30 p.m. for students with the last names Abushanab-Mariyah Hasan
  • Ceremony 2 will take place on Saturday, May 22nd at 12:00 p.m. for students with the last names Henkel-Hitzemann-Paska
  • Ceremony 3 will take place on Saturday, May 22nd at 2:00 p.m. for students with the last names Patel-Zitzka
  • All ceremonies will take place on Weber Field with seating in the home and away bleachers as well as some seating on the track. With current safety guidelines, this will allow us to provide each graduate with three tickets to share with family and friends as they wish.
  • Graduates will pick up their cap, gown, and tickets on Tuesday, May 18th. All graduates will be required to provide a saliva sample that day prior to entering to pick up their items. (Arrangements will be made for students that do not currently attend in person and do not have saliva screening kits.)

If rain is expected on one of our ceremony days, our plan is to shift those ceremonies to another day within the same weekend. Rain plans will be shared as they are finalized.

Details will follow regarding the schedule for cap & gown pick-up, graduation procedures, etc. Please continue to check for these notes and further updates at under “Graduation Information” within the “Parents” tab. We look forward to celebrating your graduate on May 21st and 22nd!
