Yearbook: Attention Staff, Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors: If you missed your first chance or would like a second opportunity for your yearbook photo, Yearbook Retake Photo Sessions are coming up soon!  Date: Monday, October 14? Time: During all lunch periods? Location: Faculty Cafeteria Whether you were absent, need a redo, or want to update your look, be sure to attend.
 
 
Fine Arts College and Career Night: Interested in pursuing a career in the Fine Arts? Attend the Glenbard 87 Fine Arts College and Career Night in partnership with COD, on Tuesday, October 15 from 5:30-8:00. See attached flyer! It is a great opportunity to talk to professionals in all areas and many colleges and universities! 
 
 
BSA: October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. BSA is sponsoring a toiletry to drive for Family Shelter Services to assist women who are survivors of domestic violence. Throughout the month you can drop off: Lotion, hair care products for textured hair, deodorant, and feminine products in the purple box by the mural at Door 1. Thank you for your support.
 
 
Girls Badminton: Interested in badminton? Here is an opportunity to work on your skills before our Spring Season. There will be open gyms held here at GBN during the winter. Look for updates soon! 
 
 
 
Theatre: Glenbard North Theatre is proud to present its first production of the year, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland! Alice journeys into a world of talking animals, comic royalty and races where the contestants run in circles! The play gives a modern view to an old classic, where nonsense makes quite good sense Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland runs October 10th at 7:30pm and October 11th at 4:30pm in the Little Theatre. Tickets are $5 at the door or available online at our glenbard north website.

School Counseling Field Trip to TCD: Attention all Sophomores and Juniors, come to TCD Explore Day on October 24th. Spend half a day at the Technology Center of DuPage and discover your passion in Career and Technical Trades. Experience the benefits of a career in Auto Technology, Construction, Cosmetology, Nursing, or 14 other programs. College Credit, internships, and employment opportunities are available. Pick up Field Trip forms in the School Counseling Department and sign up today! The deadline for Registration is Friday, October 11th.
