Girls Badminton: Attention all girls interested in Badminton! This week is the last week before tryouts! Open gyms will be Tuesday and Thursday night from 6:30-8pm. Your goal at these should be to prepare for competitive play during tryouts. In order to tryout you need to have a Gold Card. Follow the link below for a Gold Card request.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A GOLD CARD YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TRYOUT!
Tryout times have changed: Monday, March 3rd from 5:10-7:30pm, Tuesday, March 3rd 3:10-5:30. The rest of the week will be updated at tryouts. 
 
Boys Tennis: There will be an Pre-Season Boys Tennis Information Meeting on Tuesday (2/25) at 3:05pm in the Cardio Room above the Main Gym- anyone interested in playing should attend.
 
AVID:  Join us for Bingo Night on Thursday, February 27th, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the cafeteria! Have fun, win prizes, and support a great cause—proceeds will go towards an AVID scholarship. Don’t miss out—see the flyer for more details!
 
BSA: In celebration of Black History Month, BSA and the Library are presenting The Rhythm of Our Roots, a Journey Through Black Storytelling on Tuesday February 25th in the library at 3pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
 
BSA: BSA will be selling Panther Black History Month t-shirts for $7 during lunch periods on Monday 2/24, and Tuesday 2/25.
 
BSA: Celebrate Black History Month with Spirit Week. Monday 2/24- I have a Dream, inspired by MLK”s famous speech kick off spirit week in your favorite pjs or cozy wear.  Tuesday 2/25: Strike ’em out like Jackie Robinson. Celebrate the milestones of African Americans in sports by wearing your favorite jersey. Wednesday 2/26- Fall in love with learning, Wear HBCU/College gear to recognize the achievements of African Americans in education. Thursday 2/27- Unity Day, wear all Black to show unity and solidarity as a school.

World Language Department: ATTENTION SENIORS TAKING A LANGUAGE AT GBN:  If you plan to attend college and continue studying your language you may apply for the Seigmeyer Scholarship!  Please complete the application link can be seen in students emails.

Civics Club: Local Candidate Open House! Civics Club is hosting an event for the community to meet candidates running for local government positions in the GBN cafeteria on Saturday, March 1st from 10:00am-1:00pm. Stop by Civics Club Mondays after school to learn about how to help with the event. We hope to see you there!
