Humanities Honors: Humanities Honors. If you would like to take Humanities Honors senior year, the last day to complete your Interest Form is Friday, December 15th. Please complete the form even if you are unsure if you can commit to the course or fit it in your schedule. The Write Place: The last day The Write Place will be open this semester will be this Friday (December 15). Friday will be the last chance for any students to come in for a session with a tutor. The Write Place will reopen second semester.
 
The Quad: Feeling nervous about finals? Come to the Quad! The Quad’s hours on the 20th and 21st will be from 7:30 to 12:05. On the 22nd, the Quad will be open from 7:30 to 9:05. Not at a lunch? Get a pass from your teacher and come to the Quad. Hope to see you there!! Good luck on your exams!!
 
Show Stompers: This week from December 13th to December 17th, we’re looking for your support in our DoubleGood Popcorn Fundraiser. By purchasing one bag or maybe 4 or 5 will make a powerful impact — so please join us in our mission by seeing any stepper or Ms.G.
 
SENIORS: Your name in PowerSchool will be your diploma name. If you need to request a change to the format or spelling, please email the registrar, Mrs. Rebecca Fitzpatrick, before leaving for Winter Break.
 
Theatre: Glenbard North Theatre is proud to announce an ENCORE performance of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time! This production was selected to perform at the Illinois High School Theatre Festival in January, which is the largest non-competitive theatre festival in the nation. To celebrate this accomplishment, Glenbard North Theatre is putting on an encore performance. The performance will take place on January 9th at 7:00pm in the Auditorium. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door or online at Glenbardnorthhs. If you cannot attend but would like to donate instead of buying tickets, consider clicking the donation tab. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support of Glenbard North Theatre. We are so excited to share this special show with high schools across the state!
 
Boys Track and Field: Boys track and field preseason workout begin Monday, November 27th. Preseason workouts are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:50-4pm. No experience necessary. Meet Coach Karwowski in the multipurpose room/balcony above the athletic trainer room.
 
Girls Badminton: Are you interested in badminton? Did you miss the meeting? Well here is the link with all the information you need to know for Open Gyms and Conditioning! Hope to see you there! *Rackets are available for use* 
 
Library: The library will be running our annual book sale the week of December 11th through the 15th, in the library classroom. Stop by before, after school, or during the day to purchase a book. All proceeds will go towards buying newer non-fiction texts.
 
Yearbook: Staff Announcement: During this season of giving, we would like to present the opportunity to purchase a yearbook for students that cannot afford one. A yearbook costs $65.00 via check made payable to Glenbard North. Contributions could be made by single donors or pool together to buy one with your department! Contact Melissa VanDerLaan or Terese Alvarez with any questions and thanks for considering this opportunity!
