Wrestling: is beginning their pre-season training every Tuesday and Thursday in the varsity wrestling room from 3:00 PM – 4:15 PM. This will start August 31st and run through October 28th. No experience necessary and we will have shoes in case you need to rent them. This is a non-cut sport!!! Bring a friend. If you have any questions please as Coach Cherry, Coach Edwards, or Coach Lifonti.

 

North Technology Club: Join the North Technology Club to learn about CRYPTOCURRENCY and PYTHON programming. Meetings are every Wednesday after school in room 2206. Everyone is welcome. No experience required!  

 

Bowling: Anyone interested in Bowling should obtain a Gold Card from the Athletic Office. Tryouts for the Glenbard North / West Team are next Monday & Tuesday, October 25th & 26th. Tryouts will be held at Bowlero in Glendale Heights on the corner of North Ave & Glen Elyn Rd from 3-5pm. If you have questions pease email or go see Coach Manuel in the Driver Ed. Office. Movie Club: Do you like watching movies? Do you like talking about movies you’ve watched? Then join the Glenbard North Movie club. Interested students should attend an informational meeting after school on Wednesday November 3rd in room 2-243, or contact Mr. Carey in the social studies department.

 

Theatre: Glenbard North Theatre is proud to present, Silent Sky! Silent Sky tells the story of one of the first female “computers” of Harvard, Henrietta Leavitt. She was one of the first female astronomers whose work is overshadowded by her male counterparts. She seeks to discover more about the universe, and struggles to find her own place in it. The show runs from November 11th-13th at 7:30pm in the Little Theatre. Tickets can be purchased at the Box Office during lunch periods or by going to the website glenbardnorthhs.seatyourself.biz

Key Club will be meeting on Wednesday, October 27th before school in room 2104. At this meeting we will be collecting dues and talking about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. All are welcome to attend!
