Hot Chocolate with the Principal:  Come to the cafeteria for hot chocolate with the Principal, before school Fridays in December from 7am to 7:30am.  

ISO Basketball:  ISO Basketball: Come support the Special Olympics Basketball Team this week. We take on Fenton on Tuesday and Nequa Valley on Thursday. Both games will be home at Fountain View starting at 6:00pm on Court #1.

Scholastic Bowl: Cheer on our varsity quiz bowl players this week as they try to extend their conference unbeaten record to “SIX and OH” in upcoming matches vs. Wheaton North and St. Charles North. Hats off to varsity players Hamza Ghaffari and Andrew de Leon, as well as to freshmen Brady Warren and Ishanth Dontha, for their strong performances in last Saturday’s tourney.    

Girls Track & Field: The Girls Track & Field team will be holding an informational meeting on Wednesday, December 7th after school in the Little Theater. Come learn about the fastest team in the school and how you can be a part of our program. Pre-season open gym will begin on January 3rd and the season will begin on January 31st. See Coach Day in Science with any questions or if you are unable to attend the meeting.  

BSA:  BSA will be meeting after school in Room 1235. Join us as we prepare for the Black History Month Program.

Link Crew: Freshmen – You’re invited to attend Link Crew’s Snacks & Studying event on Monday, December 5th during PLC in the cafeteria. Leaders will assist in getting you prepared for final exams. Free snacks will be provided. Bring your IDs and final exam study materials!

The North Current: The North Current wants to know how much sleep you get on average! We are conducting a survey related to sleep deprivation. Help us collect data by heading to our website  and responding to our poll. While you’re there, take a minute to check out our site. Like what you see? Join us at our next meeting. We meet every Thursday after school in the library.

Club Interact: Interested in giving this year? Take a tag from the tree (located in front of the attendance office) and go shop! Bring back your gift (unwrapped) and drop off under the tree until Friday, December 9th…that’s it!! You just brightened a child’s holiday this year by donating to The Giving Tree!    

ART:  All GBN freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are invited to an ART PARTY! Try something new before you graduate; you don’t need to be talented or experienced in art. Meet the art teachers, have some snacks, and see what it would be like to take an art class as you experiment with paint, vintage darkroom photography, and/or clay– all within a fun, relaxing environment. The party will be after school on Wednesday, Nov. 30. Drop in any time between 2:30-4pm.
