Theatre: Glenbard North is getting ready to put on its first show of the year! We are proud to present our two original spring studio productions, Gladiolus Rising by Livi King  and Two of Us by Isaiah Bostwick. Gladiolus Rising tells the story of Arwen, a high school Junior, who loves nothing more than creative writing. Her biggest continuing story is a high fantasy adventure entitled “Gladiolus Rising”. When Arwen loses her biggest muse midway through the school year, Arwen must reconnect with her passion in order to reclaim her story. A beautiful story about love, loss, and the power of perseverance. Two of Us “Tommy, Roger, and a couple of their friends go on a cross country trip to the Woodstock festival in 1969. Their relationships are tested as they learn more about each other and themselves. In a time of the Vietnam War and various other protests, will love and music still prevail?”  Performances are March 9th and March 11th at 7:30pm and March 10th at 4:00pm. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door or online. All shows are in the Little Theatre.  We are so excited to kick off the spring semester in theatre, and we can’t wait to see you there!
