Senior Class:  Hey Seniors!! It’s time to submit your PICTURES and VIDEOS for the Senior Class Video.  

Creative Writing & Lit Mag Club: Calling all creative writers & artists! If you’re interested in creating and assembling GBN’s Literary Magazine this spring, come to the Creative Writing Club meeting Tuesday, January 31 after school in room 1220. Talk to your English teacher or see Ms. Quinn if you have any questions!

Volleyball:  Any boys interested in playing volleyball this Spring come to Training every Tues & Thurs. 4-5pm in the Weight Room. Open Gyms are every Mon. & Fri. Morning 6-7:20am. All are welcome! Any questions see Coach Debo in the PE Dept. Try-outs are right around the corner!

Volleyball: Volleyball Open Gym has been rescheduled to tomorrow morning! 6-7:20am. Stop in at anytime to play before school. Towels & showers are available.

Yearbook:  If you haven’t purchased your 2023 Glenbard North Yearbook yet, you don’t have much time left! Your final deadline to log on and order, for Glenbard North High School is February 24, 2023. Take a minute with your family to ensure you’ve got memories captured for a lifetime!  

Girls Track & Field: The Girls Track and Field season begins next week! Our first practice will be Tuesday, January 31st at 2:45pm in the West Gym Balcony. All athletes need a Gold Card before they can participate. Winter athletes will join when their current season concludes. We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday! Contact Coach Day or see the Athletic Office with any questions.

Club Interact:  Attention all students! Please join us for Glenbard North’s annual Valentines for Vets activity during all lunch periods Tuesday, January 31st- Thursday, February 2nd! Supplies will be provided in the cafeteria so that you can make some cards and show some love to those currently in service or that have served on our behalf!

Black Student Association: Glenbard North’s Black Student Association is inviting everyone, staff and students, to celebrate Black History Month with a program titled “Honoring the Future, Inspiring the Past” on Wednesday, February 1st from 3pm-4pm in the auditorium. Students, the show will be over by 4 if you need to take a bus and the show is free! There will be dance, musical performances, spoken work, rap, and vocalists. We hope to see you there!

The Well: Come to the Well! The Well is GBN’s Christian Club, and we meet every Wednesday at 6:45 AM for Bible study, discussion, prayer, and donuts! You and any questions you may have are welcome. Join our Schoology page. Email Mr. Wit with any questions.    

Girls Badminton:  Badminton lovers this announcement is for you! Monday, today is conditioning after school. Please meet outside the main gym ready to work with your water bottle in hand! THE OPEN GYM WEDNESDAY HAS BEEN CANCELLED! Check out future opportunities.

Girls Softball:  Any girl interested in playing softball should attend a brief meeting on Thursday, January 26 in room 2108 at 2:35 after school. If you cannot attend see coach Sanew in room 2108. 

Pep Assembly Paper Airplane Contest:  Winter Pep Assembly! Next Friday, January 27th, we will have our first indoor pep assembly in three years! If you want to play in the PEP ASSEMBLY PAPER AIRPLANE CONTEST, please see and follow the directions on the attached slide. You must use a specific type of paper which you can pick up before or after school in room 1117 between tomorrow (Friday) and Wednesday.     

BOYS TENNIS: Interested in joining GBN’s Boys Tennis team this season? Stop by room 1580 on January 31st after school. We will be hosting a brief meeting to inform you what this year’s season will look like and how to prepare you before Try-Outs. See you then!  

The North Current – Newspaper: Is your New Year’s Resolution to get more involved here at school? Are you interested in writing, photography, or cartooning? Looking to make some new friends? The North Current is the place for you! Join us at our first newspaper meeting of the new semester after school on Thursday, January 26 in the library. Counseling: Local Scholarships: Class of 2023 Local Scholarships: Do you need $$ for college or a trade school? Go to the Local Scholarship Schoology Group and start filling out applications today. Deadlines range from late January to March.
