Future Teachers of America: Are you interested in going into teaching? If so, please consider joining Future Teachers of America! Whether you’re thinking about teaching preschoolers, college students, or anybody in between, we could be the club for you. We meet every other Tuesday from 2:30 to 3:20 in room 1104 starting August 30. Email Mr. Schuldt with any questions!

Muslim Student Association: The Muslim Student Association (MSA) will have their first meeting on Thursday August 25 from 2:40-3:15 in room 1118. We will be getting to know each other, introducing MSA to new members, and discuss volunteering for our executive board for the school year. Please email Ms. Noor Maghrebi with any questions. All are welcome and we hope to see you there!   

OLAS: Hi everyone! OLAS (Organization for Latin American Students) will be hosting the first meeting of the year on Thursday, August 25th. We will be discussing future events for the school year so please make sure to attend if you are interested! We will meet in room 1203.

Future Doctors of America (FDA): Students interested in the Future Doctors of America Club: Please join us Thursday August 25th at 7:00am in room 2230. We will run elections and share the cool actives our club is involved in.

STRIVE: Need help with your homework? Don’t understand the material in your classes? If you answered yes to either of these questions, STRIVE, our after-school tutoring program, is here to help you. STRIVE begins Monday, August 22. STRIVE is right after school on Monday through Thursday in Room 1410 (the Quad). Teachers will be available to help you with your homework and to study. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Mahoney or Ms. Jungmann.

The Quad: Welcome Back! The Quad is open from periods 3 to 8 and ready to assist everyone. Do not get behind! Just come to the Quad and get those questions answered either at lunch or during your study hall. (Remember: Study hall students do need a pass from your teacher). Looking forward to seeing you soon!

The Write Place: Attention Juniors and Seniors! Are you interested in becoming a Tutor at The Write Place this year? Do you have an interest in helping people and a passion for writing? We are looking for peer tutors who enjoy helping others and have a good grasp of basic writing concepts and skills, as well as a zest to learn and grow. Tutoring hours can be used on College Applications as well as towards NHS requirements!

All interested students must fill out an application in order to be considered for a tutoring position (linked below). Applications must be completed and submitted be 2:30pm Friday, August 26th. All students are welcome to apply! If you submitted an application at the end of last year, you do not need to submit another. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Talarico. Then we want you!

Step Team: Any student interested in joining the Glenbard North Step Team should come to our first meeting of the year after school at 2:45 in room 1445 on Wednesday August 31! We will brainstorm on how we want to structure ourselves and maybe even do some stepping! If interested, join our Schoology Group with the code.
