Scholastic Bowl: Quiz Bowl! If you love trivia, mixed with info in your favorite subject areas, this is the ticket! Imagine hitting a red buzzer, hearing a beep, and shouting out an answer to win it in overtime for your team! This is Quiz Bowl, a.k.a. Scholastic Bowl, and you’ll want to attend an after school meeting on Wednesday, Aug 25th in Mr. Kulesza’s Rm 2320. See you there!
Yearbooks: Students who purchased a 2021 Yearbook may get them from the book store located in the cafeteria during their assigned lunch periods. The Write Place: The Write Place is in need of Tutors! If you would like to apply to be a tutor in The Write Place this year, please see the attached link to our google form application. The deadline to turn in applications is Friday, August 27th at 2:30pm. If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Talarico
Green Panthers: is an environmental club open to all students of every grade level. Activities are student generated and focus on the school and community environment. Club meets after school weekly and activities can take place on weekends and evenings. Please join us on Tuesday, Aug 24th after school in Mrs. Koonce’s Rm 2321. See you there!
STRIVE: Need help with your homework?  Don’t understand the material in your classes?  If you answered yes to either of these questions, STRIVE, our after-school tutoring program, is here to help you.  STRIVE will begin next week on Monday, August 30.  STRIVE is right after school on Monday through Thursday in Room 1410 (the Quad). Teachers will be available to help you with your homework and to study.  If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Mahoney or Ms. Jungmann.
SADD: Do you want to help raise awareness for issues facing teens such as mental health, suicide prevention, drug abuse and alcohol abuse prevention, and bullying prevention? Come to SADD’s first meeting on Wednesday, August 25 after school in room 1241. Come, be the difference at GBN!
ISA: Do you love dancing, singing, acting, and being involved in a large community? Well, the Indian Student Association (ISA) might be the perfect fit for you! ISA is one big family and we are open to everyone, regardless of cultural background or ethnicity. Please join us for our first meeting on Wednesday, August 25th at 2:35 in the South Cafeteria and join the School group.
National Art Honor Society: Do you love art? Do you enjoy bringing people together? Grab a friend and join National Art Honor Society! We meet in room 1452 (drawing/painting/ photo studio) every Tuesday after school from 2:45-3:45. No experience necessary. Contact Mrs. Mac  or Mrs Fridlund  for more info.
