The Write Place: Attention Sophomores and Juniors! If you are interested in being a tutor in The Write Place next year but missed the informational meeting, you can still apply! Look for the pink signs around school and scan the QR code, or follow this link to fill out the application. All applications are due Friday, April 22nd by 2:30pm. If you have any questions, stop by The Write Place (room 1-406) and speak to Ms. Talarico.

Club Interact: Attention all Club Interact members! We will have a quick meeting on Tuesday, April 19th at 7:10 am in the faculty cafeteria to discuss the community wide food drive!

Girls Track and Field: Congratulations to the girls track team who placed 8th at the DGS Mustang Invitational on Saturday. Event place winners included Iter Redento (6th in Shot Put and Discus), Jazmine Jackson (4th in High Jump), Taylor Finke (2nd in Long Jump and Triple Jump) and Grace Schager (1st in 3200m and 3rd in 1600m). Grace’s 3200m run set a new meet record and a new outdoor school record! Congratulations ladies!

Juniors and Seniors: Prom 2022 is Saturday, May 14th at Bobak’s Signature Events in Woodridge! Get ready to “Rewrite the Stars” and dance the night away! Ticket sales begin on Saturday, April 23rd and will end on Wednesday, April 27th.

Flight 87- Multicultural Night: Multicultural Night takes you on a world tour with a wide range of performances such as dances and speeches in order to give you a taste of the wonderful cultures hidden within our district! On April 14 at 7:30pm the doors open at 7:00pm and the seats are free! Come on down and board Flight 87 to enjoy a cross district student led event at Glenbard East Auditorium.

Best Buddies: I know everyone’s been waiting for this day for a long time……the opportunity to purchase a Best Buddies shirt is here! Show your support by purchasing one today!!! All orders are due by April 15th.

Yoga and Meditation Club:  Yoga and Meditation Club. Do you want to relax or energize for the last two months of school? If so, come to a Yoga and Meditation session every Wednesday after school in room 1216. Bring some friends and bring a mat or a towel. You won’t regret it!

Club Interact: Attention all! The Community Wide Food Drive is coming up on Saturday, April 23rd and we need your help! Volunteers are needed to help unload donations and load up the donations on the food pantries’ trucks! Please sign up for a shift.

Club Interact: Attention all first period classes! The Toilet paper challenge begins today so if you can spare a square then you can donate a roll!! The first period class that donates the most rolls of toilet paper by Friday, April 22nd for the Community-wide food drive will win $5 gift card for each student in the class for either Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks and $25 gift card for your teacher!

Class of 2022: With $10 Customize a senior mug to show your friends the face they love. Posters with links can be found outside of the cafeteria, gym, Panther Preview, and Instagram.

Poms: Do you love to dance? Are you interested in being a part of Glenbard North’s dance team? If you are interested in trying out, please fill out this google form with your information. Here are some important dates to keep in mind: Mandatory Interest Meeting- Tuesday, April 12th @ 7pm (via Zoom) Clinics- Wednesday, May 4th & Thursday, May 5th from 6-8:30pm (in GBN’s cafeteria) Tryouts- Saturday, May 7th from 8am-10:30am (in GBN’s cafeteria)

Prom: Juniors and Seniors: Save the date for Prom 2022! 

Health Office:  JUNIORS – please make an appointment to get your 2nd meningococcal conjugate vaccination. This is a state of Illinois requirement for entry into 12th grade. Please send proof of your vaccination to the health office  by May 1st, 2022.  

North Technology Club: Join the North Technology Club to learn about CRYPTOCURRENCY and PYTHON programming. Meetings are every Wednesday after school in room 2206. Everyone is welcome. No experience required!  

Creative Writing + Lit Mag Club Interested in creative writing, photography, art, or graphic design? Attend the Creative Writing Club + Literary Magazine Club on Tuesdays at 2:40pm in room 1114. See Ms. Quinn or email Margaret Quinn with any question.
