Wrestling: is beginning their pre-season training every Tuesday and Thursday in the varsity wrestling room from 3:00 PM – 4:15 PM. This will start August 31st and run through October 28th. No experience necessary and we will have shoes in case you need to rent them. This is a non-cut sport!!! Bring a friend. To All Students Considering a Career ANYWHERE in the Fine Arts:We are planning the first-ever D87 Fine Arts College & Career Night! This event will take place at 7pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 during the D87 Fine Arts Week. It will be in person at Glenbard East and streamed simultaneously on Zoom. We need your help by completing the interest survey below to help determine what speakers and post-secondary education programs we will invite.

North Technology Club: Join the North Technology Club to learn about CRYPTOCURRENCY and PYTHON programming. Meetings are every Wednesday after school in room 2206. Everyone is welcome. No experience required!

Speech Team: The Speech Team season is around the corner! The Speech Team is a competitive activity in which students compete in 14 different events, ranging from informative to impromptu to poetry reading. We currently meet every Friday at 6:45AM in room 1408. If you’re interested, or have any questions, please contact Rebecca Nielsen.

 

 

Key Club: will have our next meeting on September 29th! We will meet in room 2104 at 7:05 am. Come and learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities!

 

 

Theatre: Come on out to Glenbard North Theatre’s first production of the year, Dramapalooza! Our fall studio is a night of one acts featuring original and published works, some being directed by our own students.The show runs September 30th at 7:30pm, October 1st at 4:00pm and October 2nd at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased at the Box Office or by going to the website. Thank you for your support, and we can’t wait to see you there!

 

The Write Place: When making an appointment, please make sure to pay close attention to the time you are picking. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays we are only open the SECOND HALF of lunch when Freshmen and Sophomores are in the Auditorium. Tuesdays and Thursdays we are only open during the FIRST HALF of lunch when Juniors and Seniors are in the Auditorium. Follow the instructions on the yellow appointment signs carefully.
