Wrestling: is beginning their pre-season training every Tuesday and Thursday in the varsity wrestling room from 3:00 PM – 4:15 PM.  

This will start August 31st and run through October 28th.  No experience necessary and we will have shoes in case you need to rent them.  This is a non-cut sport!!!  Bring a friend.

To All Students Considering a Career ANYWHERE in the Fine Arts:We are planning the first-ever D87 Fine Arts College & Career Night! This event will take place at 7pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 during the D87 Fine Arts Week. It will be in person at Glenbard East and streamed simultaneously on Zoom. We need your help by completing the interest survey below to help determine what speakers and post-secondary education programs we will invite.

North Technology Club: Join the North Technology Club to learn about CRYPTOCURRENCY and PYTHON programming. Meetings are every Wednesday after school in room 2206. Everyone is welcome. No experience required!  

Attention all Club Interact!! Kids Against Hunger food packaging event will be after school on Wednesday, September 29th! Please turn in your field trip forms and transportation waivers before the 29th to ensure your spot! Email with questions.
 
The Write Place: The Write Place is back! We are here for all your writing needs. Opening Day is TODAY Monday, September 20th. Appointment QR codes can be found hanging on the boards around the school, the door to The Write Place, and in your English Classroom. Scan the QR code to make your appointment through Signup Genius. We are by appointment only. No walk-ins will be taken this year, so appointments are limited. Email Ms. Talarico with questions.  
 
Black Student Association: will be meeting this Thursday after school in Room 1235. All are welcome!
 
Girls Cross Country: Congratulations to the girls cross country team on their performance at the Richard Spring Invitational at Detweiller Park in Peoria. This is the largest meet in Illinois and runs on the state meet course. Grace Schager placed 3rd overall, running 16:42 for 3 miles. Her time is a new Glenbard North SCHOOL RECORD for 3 miles! Congratulations, Ladies.   
 
Speech Team: The Speech Team season is around the corner! The Speech Team is a competitive activity in which students compete in 14 different events, ranging from informative to impromptu to poetry reading. We currently meet every Friday at 6:45AM in room 1408. If you’re interested, or have any questions, please contact.
 
The North Current: Glenbard North’s student newspaper, will be having its first meeting of the year. Join us on Thursday, September 23 at 2:40 in Room 2235. Learn how you can become a part of our publication. We are looking for writers, photographers, artists, and graphic designers. No experience is necessary and new staff members are always welcome. We look forward to seeing you then!
